After working for more than 20 years in statistical analysis and consulting, Susan E. Spruill founded Applied Statistics and Consulting. 

 

The Mission is simple:   To provide clients with comprehensive statistical advice, analyses and support in a manner that is conducive to successful research and reporting.

Susan Spruill is a quantitative geneticist by education and an applied statistician by training.  Her love for statistics came from her work experiences in crop and animal genetics projects while at North Carolina State University.  Her experiences range from statistical analyses that led to air pollution regulations (Titles III and IV of the Clean Air Act) to pharmaceutical drug development.  One of her favorite experiments involved testing cognitive reflexes of healthy volunteers when under the influence of stimulants, sleep deprivation and alcohol.  To view other work experiences, please go to Susan's curriculum vitae.
 
Susan enjoys working with her clients in publishing the results of their work.  Over the years she has authored more than 20 published journal articles and book chapters.  She has also presented her work at several national and international conferences.
